The West African Examination Council (WAEC) yesterday officially announced the release of the 2017 WASSCE May/June Result.

Candidates were advised to start checking their results in the next few hours.

However, we have observed that 2017 has not even been added to the list of examination years their results are available on the WAEC official result checking portal.

From experience, we know that the results of candidates can be accessed on the portal 24 hours after it has official been announced.

Counting from when the results were released yesterday, we can say it is not yet up to 24 hours.

The purpose of this thread is to notify candidates the moment the 2017 result checking has been enabled on WAEC's official result checking portal.

So do well to check this thread regularly for updates on the comment section.

Please, the moment you are able to access your result, do notify others on this thread immediately. Thanks.

The head of the Nigeria National Office of WAEC made this known at a press briefing at the Council's office in Yaba Lagos.
